  1. I'm interested in upgrading my 2011 macbook to a solid state drive, increasing the ram, and replacing the battery, however I like having my optical drive for CD's. Is it essential to upgrade the optical drive with a data doubler , or would it make sense to leave it alone if it still serves me well?
